Comedian seeks anticipatory bail
Comedian Vadivelu seems to be in the center of news these days albeit for wrong reasons. First, it was the income tax raid and now an alleged murder threat from his co-stars. Following Vadivelu’s complaint to the police, fellow comedian Singamuthu has reportedly sought anticipatory bail.
When reasons were probed, Singamuthu had this to say, “Vadivelu has unnecessarily complained about me and if he does not withdraw his complaint, I will be forced to divulge dark secrets about him which would completely jeopardize his career.” He also said that as he had started writing comedy tracks for other artists, Vadivelu is feeling insecure and is reacting this way. Looks like the situation is getting murkier.

Reema Sen said that she is interested in commercial films and does not like to act in art films. While speaking about this, she said,” I have been acting in cinema for a long time.

It is really challenging to act for so many years. The reason for this is that I am talented. At the same time I am very calm. I will not get myself involved in controversies. I have got some good friends in cinema field.
I have not thought about my marriage. I have to act in many more films. I don’t like to act in art films. I like to act in commercial films where I cn sing and dance with the heroes. I am acting in such films only”

But this action film talks about human relationships. The don who is always after weapon and blood has a soft corner in his heart.
When this soft corner takes control of him, the humanity wins. I have narrated this in this film. Suman is donning the villain role. Ganja Karuppu is the comedian. Srikanth Deva has composed the music while Kannan has handled the camera.”

A mammoth felicitation function is being held on 6th of this month by the all the members of the film fraternity in order honor the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Kalaignar M Karunanidhi since he has allotted 96 acres of land to build houses for actors, technicians, producers and other connected with Tamil film industry.
Amitabh Bachchan will be the chief guest of this function. Rajni, Kamal, Kamal, actors association president Sarathkumar, Vijay, Ajith, Vikram, Surya, Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, Jayam Ravi, Sathyaraj, Dhanush, Simbhu, Jeeva, Ramesh, Karthi and Bharath will be attending this function. Most of them are participating in the dance programmes.
Kamal Hassan will be staging a play along with few actors. Nayanthara and Reema Sen will also be dancing. The most important factor is that Nayanthara will be dancing with Prabhu Deva. This has been kept secret till now.

Dream Valley Corporation’s Aayirathil Oruvan, starring Karthi, Reema Sen, Andrea and Parthiban and directed by Selvaraghavan that has been in the making for nearly two years, is getting ready for release. The film’s story is kept under wraps and so and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the release. Parthiban is said to have played a historic war hero’s role. G.V. Prakash’s music is one of the chief highlights of the film. There are nearly ten songs and instrumental mixes in the album.
The album begins with the combination of celebrities singing in ‘Un Mela Aasadhan’. As we hear the launching lines, the excitement increases and continues till the end. Stylish and casual rendition by Andrea, Aishwarya Dhansuh and Dhanush marks the song. ‘The King arrives’ by Neil Mukherjee (Madras Augustin Choir) is an instrumental extravaganza. ‘Thaai Thindra Mannae’, the Cholan Ecstasy by Nithyashree Mahadevan, Vijay Yesudas and Sri Krishna, is an exciting combination of dialogues and exchanges in chaste Tamil followed by a slow-paced classical rendition. The song is repeated in Vijay’s voice. In that version also, the mood is sorrow, painful and very touching. ‘Malai Neram’ by G.V. Prakash and Andrea is a romantic number. Andrea’s voice has the extra magical feel in it and GVP’s addition accentuates it. ‘Intha Paadhai’, a solo by GVP, touches and warms listeners’ hearts. Both the tempo and rhythm are slow and soothing. GVP’s voice adds to the touching melody. The difference between ‘Oh Eesa’ the club Mix and the composer’s mix sung by Andrea and Karthik is that the latter has a desi touch in its style of presentation. ‘Penmaanae’ is in Bombay Jayashree and P.B. Srinivas’ voices; the song begins with an elaborate alaap by Jayashree which continues with her delicate rendition. The sad emotion wraps up the album.
G.V. Prakash’s compositions for Aayirathil Oruvan are sure to top listeners’ choices.
